Kyle’s Notes:

This batch was planned at the same time as the June bottling where I would essentially do the inverse of what I had done in June.  This had a few extra months of summer aging in oak, so I knew that the higher percentage of the 3rd floor would taste better in this bottling. Because the June/September are essentially inverse bottlings, it is fun to taste these two side by side for comparison.

Bourbon Nerd Information: 

On 9/4/2024 a total of 132 barrels were dumped to produce only BiB with a barrel loss of 33.2% during aging.  A total of 22 distilling days were used in the batch from the Spring 2018 distilling season. The weighted average for the floor was 3.71 and there were 9 different ricks used as seen below.
